Products - Handicrafts & Souvenirs
Our handicrafts and souvenirs are lovingly produced in Brunei by our community members in small quantities, always with an attention to detail and quality - there's no mass produced stock for shops, so every item is unique. Our woven products use traditional techniques and materials, sourced from nature in Brunei, (so no plastic strapping) whilst our souvenirs are made from recycled and environmentally friendly materials where possible. No toxic glues or paints are used.
Hand woven by our community aunties, these small Rattan bowls are perfect for presenting dried foods or using in the home or office for holding stationary and knick-knacks.
Traditional indigenous baskets for carrying vegetables, the bahai from our community members are hand made using only traditional materials (Rattan and Bam Ban) sourced from the jungle.
Our canvas tote bags (made from natural unbleached cotton) are trimmed and hand painted by talented artists in our community. Each one is different, with
designs such as Brunei Culture, Heritage and Traditional Food.
Our hand made tile/coaster sets are designed by community members using their
own photos, printed on recycled ceramic tiles. Available in limited runs, they
are assembled using non-toxic environmentally friendly glues and low VOC protective varnish.
